Bio

Hi, my name is Jordan Ryan. Originally from San Diego, California, my research background is in molecular biology, translational medicine, and therapeutic development. My research has centered on the design and evaluation of materials-based drug delivery systems that locally activate logic-enabled cell- and RNA-based therapies with applications in cancer and regenerative medicine. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and my master’s degree in biotechnology from Northeastern University while conducting research in the thoracic surgery department at Massachusetts General Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. Yolonda Colson, M.D., Ph.D. I am passionate about translating fundamental biological discoveries into clinically impactful therapies. Outside the lab, I enjoy surfing, sailing, running, exploring local coffee shops, and following baseball.
