Mei is an undergraduate student at Wellesley College studying Biochemistry. Her research interests lie at the intersection of genetics, virology, and computational biology, with a growing focus on how information is processed and communicated within biological systems. She is currently working alongside Omer on hypoimmune synthetic circuits and microRNA sponges. When she is not in the lab, you can find her training Brazilian jiu jitsu, serenading her friends on guitar, or experimenting with new baking recipes!
